Chuck Wagon Fireplace set. Note the close up picture of the top of the upright stake. We found through experience that if you drove the old style in hard ground enough times it would eventually flatten to the bend and could come apart. The old style was the original way the Chuck Wagon cooks made them and they had the same problem. We now make the top longer and attach the hook with rivets.

COFFEE TIPPERS

We make these in our Black Smith shop. There are several variables as to the length you need for a coffee tipper. How far off  the ground is the bar? You can always adjust this by driving your stakes further in the ground.  Are you hanging the pot over a grill, if so how high is the grill off the ground? Are you hanging it over a fire built on top of the ground or in a hole?
We offer two lengths, its up to you to determine which length you need.

We only show one length in our pictures. The bottom part of the hanger remains the same its the top part that is different. We offer an 8" and a 10 1/2". We call them long coffee tipper or short coffee tipper. These are great for pouring coffee as you don't have to pick the pot up, just grab the handle, push down and pour. Of course you have to have a handle on the bottom of your pot for these to work.
Most Chuck Wagon cooks use a large coffee pot like ours in the picture. Our pot measures 12 inches tall not counting the lid or handle. If your pot is too much smaller than this you will have to cut a piece out of the tipper rod and weld it back together. We suggest taking a real stiff piece of copper or wire and bending it till your tipper works properly then use the length of the wire to adjust the length of the tipper rod. We apologize for this inconvenience but there are so many different size coffee pots it would be impossible for us to offer that many options
