The Bar E is proud to offer these fine white oak barrels by one of the oldest cooperages in existence. These barrels are made with the same hand crafted care and on the same machines used 100 years ago. Many a white oak barrel went up the trail from Texas, mounted on the side of a chuck wagon and following a herd of Longhorn cattle. These days most white oak barrels are shipped to Winery's around the world for aging fine wines. You can now own one of these old time white oak barrels that represent a period in our history long since gone. Use your imagination about what you want to put in it at your next party or decorate with a real old west theme.

Water Dippers Old enamelware water dippers, white with red trim. We usually have several on hand. All useable but some have a few chips and minor rust. They don't make these old dippers anymore. Hard to find. $40.00

Made from top quality sap clear white oak. Cover with lid and knob. Plain interior, no paraffin. $136.00 "We don't think the old Chuck Wagon Cooks had their kegs paraffin lined but we have had people ask if we thought the wood would impart a flavor to the Sour Dough. We don't know for sure so if you want it Paraffin lined just choose paraffin lined on order form and for an additional $2.00 we will line it with Paraffin." If using the plain unlined keg the first batch of sour dough should be thrown out. The first batch seasons the keg. Also rinse the keg with scalding water before starting your first batch to kill any unwelcome bugs!
	Temporarily Out OLD 59 GALLON WINE BARREL Stored in a warehouse for years. These are stained inside from the wine. We have tightened the hoops up and nailed them. This leaves a spot where the hoops used to be. They will all be like this so if you don't like the way it looks please don't order. These barrels are in very good solid condition. Cut them in half and make planters or whatever you want. 36 inches tall and 22 inch diameter at the top. A bargain at only $135.00 plus shipping. We have a limited supply and when they're gone we don't expect to have anymore.

	Wooden Nail Keg These kegs are the same type as those which in the old days were used to ship cut nails around the world for over 150 years. Constructed from pine staves and pine heads with steel rims and wire bands. These kegs are commonly used today for stools, planters, toy boxes---and storing nails. Can be painted, stained or left natural. 18" tall and 12" dia. at the head (top). $51.00.
